Refuting the Myth of Adam and Eve

There is a lot of important information that though cannot be reasonably disputed, is not incorporated fully into the mainstream body of information that comes from mainstream media and the formal education system. One area of subjugated information has to do with the earliest beginnings of humanity. The misinformation and confusion aroundthese earliest beginnings can be attributed to the pervasiveness of Judeo-Christianity. If one is to follow the Bible the age of the earth and humanity are approximately 6000-9000 years old. Understanding historical realities is made even more difficult when attempts are made to reduce the billions of years of earth's life forms into a mere 7000 year span as articulated by the Bible.
Can Christianity be debunked in a single question?
The people at Rationalist.war, think so.' I want to articulate their question,and you be the judge it this debunks christianity. St.Paul and his epistles to romans says that Jesus sacrificial death was required by God to atone for the original sin.'
The original sin being that of "Adams." But we know the story of Adam & Eve to be pure "fiction", although Paul thought it to be a factual story two thousand of years ago",which ultimately means, Jesus died for "absolutely" No "Reason"!
How do so called modernized Christians who reject a creation myth reconcile this fact?Why did God have to forgive our sin by sacrificing himself ,in human form in such a Grotesque manner,To write the wrongs of a person that never existed?
Evolution proves that the Adam & Eve story is nothing but at best an (Allegorical Fairy tale) since we know man do not come from a form of dirt,but from precursor "primates".... And women did not come from a "Rib"..... does this question debunk christianity in one failed swoop?
