j krishnamurti on hope and faith

Source: www.youtube.com
excerpt the real revolution
j krishnamurti on hope and faith
Questioner: Of what significance is hope and faith to living?
Krishnamurti: I hope you won't think me harsh if I say there is no significance at all. We have had hope; we have had faith - faith in church, faith in politics, faith in leaders, faith in gurus, because we have wanted to achieve a state of bliss, of happiness. and so on. And hope has nourished this faith. And when one observes through history, through our life, all that hope and faith have no meaning at all, because what is important is what we are; actually what we are - not what we think we are, or what we think we should be, but actually what is. If we know how to look at what is, that will bring about a tremendous transformation.

Alan Watts - Myth and Religion - Jesus and his Religion Pt 5/6

Source: www.youtube.com
Alan Wilson Watts was a British philosopher, writer, speaker, and student of comparative religion. He was best known as an interpreter and popularizer of Asian philosophies for a Western audience.

He wrote more than 25 books and numerous articles on subjects such as personal identity, the true natu...
“Jesus and His Religion,” Alan Watts.
We run a talking shop. We pray, we tell God what to do, or give advice (as if he didn’t know). We read the scriptures. And remember talking of the Bible, Jesus said, “You search the scriptures daily, for in them you think you have life!”
I think the Bible ought to be ceremoniously and reverently burned every Easter. We need it no more, because the Spirit is with us. It’s a dangerous book, and to worship it is of course a far more dangerous idolatry than bowing down to images of wood and stone. Nobody can confuse a wooden image with God, but you can very easily confuse a set of ideas with God, because concepts are more rarified and abstract.”
Translation

HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT I BLASPHEME?
“I am a son of God,” well there’s the whole thing in a nutshell. If you read the King James Bible… You will see in italics, in front of the words “son of God,” the “son of God.” Most people think the italics are for emphasis. They’re not. The italics indicate words interpolated by the translators. You will not find that in the Greek. In the Greek it says, a son of God.

It seems to me here perfectly plain. That Jesus has got it in the back of his mind that this isn’t something peculiar to himself. So when he says, “I am the Way, no Man comes to the Father but by me.” This “I am” this “Me” is the divine in us.
We are sons of, or of the nature of God. Manifestations of the divine. This discovery is the gospel. That is the Good News. But this has been perpetually repressed throughout the history of Western religion…

A Distorted Celestial Monarchy
All Western religions have taken the form of celestial monarchies, and therefore have discouraged democracy in the kingdom of heaven.

Because you see, they have a religion which is militant. Which is not the religion of Jesus, which was the realization of divine son-ship. but the religion about Jesus, which pedestalizes him, and which says only this man, of all the sons of women was divine, and you better recognize it!

So it becomes a freak religion, just as it has made a freak of Jesus among natural man. It claims uniqueness, that what it does teach would be far more credible if it were truly Catholic. That is to say, re-stated again, the truths which have been known from time immemorial.
Every religion should be self-critical, otherwise it soon degenerates into a self righteous hypocrisy. If then, we can see this, that Jesus speaks not from the situation of a historical deus-ex-machina, a kind of weird, extraordinary event. But he is a voice, which has joins with other voices that have said in every place and time: wake up, man, wake up…and realize who you are!

Now I don’t think you see, until Churches get with that, they are going to have very much relevance.

What Modern religion does, and does not

Popular Protestantism and popular Catholicism, will tell you nothing about mystical religion. The message of the preacher…is dear people, be good! …But how? How are we going to be change? Obviously, there cannot be a vitality of religion, without vital religious experience. That’s something much more than emoting than singing with “Onward Christian Soldiers.“

Contemplation
What are we gonna do about? Do about it? You have no faith? Be quiet.
Supposing we are really quiet. We don’t think. Be absolutely silent, through and through. They say, “you’ll just fall into a blank!” Oh? Ever tried?
I feel then you see that it’s enormously important that Churches stop being talking shops. They become centers of contemplation. What is contemplation? Con-Temple, it’s what you do in the temple! You don’t come to the temple to chatter, but to be still, and “know that I am God.”

If the Christian religion, if the Gospel of Christ is to mean anything at all, we must see Christ as the great mystic. In the proper sense of the word mystic. Not someone who has all sorts of magical powers. A mystic, strictly speaking, is one who realizes union with God, by whatever name. This seems to me, the crux and message of the gospel.

That We are all One
In the prayer of Jesus which St. John records, as he speaks over his disciples praying, that they may be one even as you Father and I are one. That they may be all one. All, realize this divine son-ship, or oneness, basic identity with the eternal energy of the universe, and the love that moves the sun and other stars.”

Known Universe - The Biggest and The Smallest part 1/5

Source: www.youtube.com
PART 1-5: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=5885EB963F8DDD5E

From the enormous universe in which we exist to tiny atoms that make up the building blocks of everything around us, size matters when it comes to understanding the cosmos. Starting with our solar system, we'll explore the true me...
A Quote by J. (Jiddu) Krishnamurti The unknown is not measurable by the known. Time cannot measure the timesless, the eternal, that immensity which has no beginning and no end. But our minds are bound to the yardstick of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and with that yardstick we try to inquire into the unknown, to measure that which is not measurable. And when we try to measure something which is not measurable, we only get caught in words.
J. Krishnamurti (1895 - 1986)

The reality of truth is not to be bought, to be sold, to be repeated; it cannot be caught in books. It has to be found from moment to moment, in the smile, in the tear, under the dead leaf, in the vagrant thought, in the fullness of love.
J. Krishnamurti (1895 - 1986)

George Carlin 'We Like War'

Source: www.youtube.com
George Carlin's 'We Like War' standup routine.

If not 'THE', certainly one of the best comedians ever.
RIP George
1937-2008
 George Carlin 'We Like War'
Its the old American double standard you know, say one thing do something different.' And of course the country is founded on on the double standard. That our history. We were founded on a very basic double standard,This country was founded by slave owners who wanted to be 'free.' Am i right?

A group of slave owners ,who wanted to be free.' So they killed a lot of white English people in order to continue owning their black African people,so that they could wipe out the rest of the red Indian people and move west and still the land from the brown Mexican people, give them a place to take off and drop their nuclear weapons on the yellow Japanese people.'

You know what the motto, you what the motto of this country ought to be,you give us a color we'll wipe it out! we got it.' So any way about 80 years after the constitution is ratified, 80 years later the slaves are freed' NOT SO YOU REALLY NOTICE IT'of course, just sorta on the paper. and that was of course during the civil war.'

Now there's another phrase i dearly love' that is a true oxymoron if i've ever heard one. CIVIL-WAR' you think any country could really have a civil war? say pardon me'.......shots fired....! im awfully sorry:( im awfully sorry.' So, now of course the civil war has been over for about 120 years but not so you really notice it.' cause we still have these people called civil war buffs' people who thought it was a really keen war.'

And they study the battles carefully and they try to improve on the strategies and the tactics to increase the body count' incase we have to go through it again sometime.' In fact some of these people will actually get dressed up in uniforms once a year and re-fight these battles.' you know what i say? use live 'Ammunition assholes! would you please.'

You might just raise the intelligence level of the American gene pool.' But what do you expect, hey come on this is a war like country, we come from that northern European, basically the northern European genes, the blue eyes, those blues eyes, boy everybody in the world learned real quick, when those blues eyes sailed out of the north you better nail everything down mother fucker.' Nail it down, strap it down or they'll grab it, if they can't take it home they'll burn it, if they can't burn it they'll fuck it! That's what happen to us.'

And its a war like ' country' come on i mean forget foreign policy even the domestic rhetoric is war like, everything about out domestic policy 'invokes' the thought of war.' We don't like something in this country we declare war on it.' The war on 'poverty' The war of 'drugs' The war on 'crime' The war on 'aids' The war on ' cancer' We got the only national anthem that mentions fuckin rockets and bombs in the god damn thing! you know what i mean?
alright.
George Carlin'

'War is a conflict involving the organized use of weapons and physical force by states or other large-scale groups. Warring parties usually hold territory, which they can win or lose; and each has a leading person or organization which can surrender, or collapse, thus ending the war. Wars are usually a series of campaigns between two opposing sides involving a dispute over sovereignty, territory, resources, religion, or ideology. A war to liberate an occupied country is called a 'war of liberation'; a war between internal factions within a state is a civil war. Until the end of World War II, participants usually issued formal declarations of war.

Wars must be'

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.' (Mark 13:7-8)

Deuteronomy 20Deuteronomy 20 (The Message)
View In MyBible • One verse per line1 When you go to war against your enemy and see horses and chariots and soldiers far outnumbering you, do not recoil in fear of them; God, your God, who brought you up out of Egypt is with you.

2 When the battle is about to begin, let the priest come forward and speak to the troops.

3 He'll say, 'Attention, Israel. In a few minutes you're going to do battle with your enemies. Don't waver in resolve. Don't fear. Don't hesitate. Don't panic.

4 God, your God, is right there with you, fighting with you against your enemies, fighting to win.'

5 Then let the officers step up and speak to the troops: 'Is there a man here who has built a new house but hasn't yet dedicated it? Let him go home right now lest he die in battle and another man dedicate it.

6 And is there a man here who has planted a vineyard but hasn't yet enjoyed the grapes? Let him go home right now lest he die in battle and another man enjoy the grapes.

7 Is there a man here engaged to marry who hasn't yet taken his wife? Let him go home right now lest he die in battle and another man take her.'

8 The officers will then continue, 'And is there a man here who is wavering in resolve and afraid? Let him go home right now so that he doesn't infect his fellows with his timidity and cowardly spirit.'

9 When the officers have finished speaking to the troops, let them appoint commanders of the troops who shall muster them by units.

10 When you come up against a city to attack it, call out, 'Peace?'

11 If they answer, 'Yes, peace!' and open the city to you, then everyone found there will be conscripted as forced laborers and work for you.

12 But if they don't settle for peace and insist on war, then go ahead and attack.

13 God, your God, will give them to you. Kill all the men with your swords.

14 But don't kill the women and children and animals. Everything inside the town you can take as plunder for you to use and eat - God, your God, gives it to you.

15 This is the way you deal with the distant towns, the towns that don't belong to the nations at hand.

16 But with the towns of the people that God, your God, is giving you as an inheritance, it's different: don't leave anyone alive.

17 Consign them to holy destruction: the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, obeying the command of God, your God.

18 This is so there won't be any of them left to teach you to practice the abominations that they engage in with their gods and you end up sinning against God, your God.

19 When you mount an attack on a town and the siege goes on a long time, don't start cutting down the trees, swinging your axes against them. Those trees are your future food; don't cut them down. Are trees soldiers who come against you with weapons?

20 The exception can be those trees which don't produce food; you can chop them down and use the timbers to build siege engines against the town that is resisting you until it falls.

Comment

Belief in these words can justify any war and atrocity against nations. Yet Jesus here tells us that we should not feel troubled by it as long as we have belief in Him.When Jesus prophesies about the future, he gives the message that we have no control over our lives other than to choose or not choose a belief in the Lord. With such a message, it should not surprise anyone why the Religious Right does little to strive against war.

Alan Watts: On Buddhism- Religion of No Religion

Source: www.youtube.com
This is an excerpt pulled from a 6 Cd set of Alan Watts Audi
Alan Watts: On Buddhism- Religion of No Religion
There is a poem on the edge which also was written by Bashô,when the lighting flashes how admiral the who does not think life is fleeting. You see um,the flash of a lightning is the Buddhist Clichés' for the transiency for the world. Your life goes by and it disappears as fast as a flash of lightning.'
That becomes a Clichés' so,all religion' all religious comments about life eventually becomes Clichés'Religion is always falling a part.' And becoming a certain kind of going through the 'motion.'

A kind of imitation of attitudes, as if one was to uh say we got a book called the imitation of Christ.' It's a terrible 'book.' uh,because everybody who imitates Christ is a kind of a fake Jesus.'
So in the same way there's kind of imitation Buddhist.'
Not just sitting on altars made of wood and gilded monasteries.'
So one might say then that the highest kind of religious or spiritual attainment has no,no, sign about it that it is religious or that it is spiritual.'

And so as a 'metaphor' for this, there was used in Buddhism from the very beginning the idea of the tracks of birds in the 'sky' They don't leave any tracks!
And so the way of the enlighten man is like a track of the bird in the sky.' And there's one poem a Chinese poem says, entering the forest he does not disturb a blade of 'grass' Entering the water he does not make a ripple.' in other words ,There is no 'sign' about him' to indicate that he is self -consciously religious.'

Alan Watts - To Know that You are God

Source: www.youtube.com
Alan Watts on the subjective experience of self knowledge
Alan Watts - To Know that You are God
To Know that you are God is another way of saying you are completely with this universe.' You feel profoundly rooted in it and connected with it.' You feel in other words that thew whole energy expresses itself in the 'galaxies.' it's intimate.' It is not something to which you are a stranger' but it is that which you what ever that is are intimately bound on. That in your seeing, your hearing, your talking , your thinking your moving.' You express that which it is that moves Sun and other Stars.' And if you don't know that well naturally you'll feel 'alien' you'll feel a stranger in the world AND IF YOU FEEL A STRANGER YOU'LL FEEL HOSTILE.' And therefore you start to bulldoze things about ,to beat it up and to try and to make the world submit to your will AND YOU BECOME A REAL TROUBLE MAKER.

African Mythology : Gods, Goddesses, Spirits, Legends from Africa

Source: www.godchecker.com
African Mythology: the Gods of over 70 African tribes. :
 Concept of Deity
by John Henrik Clarke

To hold a people in oppression you have to convince them first that they are supposed to be oppressed. When the European comes to a country, the first thing he does is to laugh at your God and your God concept. And the next thing is to make you laugh at your own God concept. Then he don't have to build no jails for you then, cause he's got you in a jail more binding than iron can ever put you. Anytime you turn on your own concept of God, you are no longer a free man. No one needs to put chains on your body, because the chains are on your mind. Anytime someone say's your God is ugly and you release your God and join their God, there is no hope for your freedom until you once more believe in your own concept of the 'deity.' And that's how we're trapped. We have been educated into believing someone else's concept of the deity, and someone else's standard of beauty. You have the right to practice any religion and politics in a way that best suits your freedom, your dignity, and your understanding. And once you do that, you don't apologize.
Nothing the European mind ever devised was meant to do anything but to facilitate the European's control over the world. Anything that you get from Europe that you are going to use for yourself, remake it to suit yourself.
Where did we go wrong educationally? After the Civil War, the period called reconstruction, a period of pseudo-democracy, we began to have our own institutions, our own schools. We had no role model for a school, ... our own role model. So we began to imitate White schools.
Our church was an imitation of the White church. All we did is to modify the old trap. We didn't change the images, we became more comfortable within the trap. We didn't change the images, we changed some of the concepts of the images, but the images remained the same. So the mis-education that gave us a slave mentality had been altered. But it remained basically the same.'

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TELL THE ISRAELITES TO DO IF SOME TRY TO CONVERT THEM?

If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you. You shall stone him to death, because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. And all Israel, hearing of this, shall fear and never do such evil as this in your midst. (Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB)

THE BLACK DNA-UNDENIABLE Tv
 THE BLACK DNA-UNDENIABLE Tv
DNA,The black DNA.why is DNA so important? DNA is today.DNA is yesterday.DNA is your present.DNA is your history. Everything is in your DNA. Greatness lies in your DNA. DNA is the individual pieces that creates the foundation to your puzzle. But look at you! your puzzle shattered in to a thousand pieces. You don't even think for yourself .' The 400 years our DNA has been tampered with.
There's over 400 billion cells in the brain alone, which make the optic nerve the pineal glands, your brain is what you think with,so if i attack you mentally i'm tapping into your DNA. Affecting the way you,Affecting the way you live ,Affecting the way you make decisions.

75% of the black community don't read books. So that means you have a TV based culture.' So if i tell them that they a thug on TV' THEY GONE BE A THUG! If i tell them they a killers on TV,THEY GONE BE KILLERS! If i tell the girls to shake they ass and that's all the worth,THAT'S ALL THEY GONE DO! A TV BASED CULTURE!... Look at how they make a fool of them self.' They don't have no 'money' I just start let them start being ' millionaires.' I just let them start reading.' I never let them read,TV based culture, buffoons.' I been tampering with your DNA for years!

And even when i allow you to read, and i allow you to go to my college, and i give you a degree' I KNOW YOU STILL AIN'T SMART!... You know why? because i doctored the education,I allow you to receive.' I already know locked inside your DNA,You know what i'm teaching'

BECAUSE I STOLE IT FROM YOU!.. I STOLE IT FROM YOUR PEOPLE,I STOLE IT FROM YOUR DNA.' But you don't ask questions' I tell you your history is 1960' I give you a month.' HEY I MADE THE MONTHS,I MADE THE CALENDER.' EVERYTHING IN THIS WHOLE SYSTEM I CREATED.' Let anybody question my system, and see if they don't end up like Martin Luther King' see if they don't end up like Malcolm X.' QUESTION MY SYSTEM,I DARE YOU!... I don't fuck with that DNA .I don't let you unlock it,cause if you unlock it,Then im in trouble.'

IF YOU STOP GOING TO MY CHURCHES,IM IN TROUBLE,CAUSE THAT'S HOW I CONTROL YOU!...The best conquering of a people.' I did a good job i sit back and i laugh' and i look at my white house THAT A BLACK MAN BUILT FOR ME.' I look at my white house.I wonder how old Benjamin Banneker is doing. After he built architect the white house, and i just let a black person in there.' But you black people don't even know that you built the white house. king james he didn't even fathom you reading the bible. You didn't even exist in King James mind.' But i still got the story here, and i still got this story controlling you people.

TV bases people. Look on the dollar, see that key? I tease you with your history, and i know you can't unlock your DNA,I control you,I control your women,I control everything ! But i know you really control, because you created,I need you! I need you! And everybody is not like me.' I have my own kind that loves you.' I understand the pineal gland,I understand Melanin” but you don't.

I CONTROL YOU THROUGH YOUR EDUCATION,THROUGH YOUR SPIRITUALITY. I CONTROL YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATIONS.' I WILL NEVER GIVE YOU NOTHING. YOU NEVER GONNA HAVE AN AFRICAN TOWN LIKE CHINA TOWN! YOU NEVER GONNA HAVE ANY COMMUNITY! I WILL TAKE THAT,I'VE BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS.Since the 80's i made it normal that you die!.. when ever movies come on you the first person to die !...I make it immune in your DNA in your mental state,THAT YOU GONNA DIE!... I could shot up a car full of you today, and nothing with happen because its the norm.' I USE THE TV TO MAKE YOU NEGATIVE,TO MAKE YOU A NEGATIVE IMAGE,AND EVERYBODY LOOK AT YOU NEGATIVE.'

You can't get a job! cause i got you on TV robbing somebody,I got you on TV killing somebody,so when you go to that job that manager that boss is gonna look at you like that murderer, you're that killer .' I control you,I own you,I'm gonna keep tampering with your DNA' I got a lot in store for you! I got a lot in store for you!

I'M NEVER GONNA LET YOU FREE! I'M NEVER GONNA LET YOU FREE! I know what's in your DNA' You're DANGEROUS!... I'm gonna target you for the rest of your life!... IM GONNA TARGET YOUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN!...TO ITS NOT MORE OF YOU UNTIL YOU'RE INSTINCT!...experiment on you.'

I control you.I control you.I control your thoughts,I control your eyes ,I control your vision,I control your heart, you have to come to my doctor. You have to get my medicine. Even though i designed Aids and i designed all of these diseases.' You never ask yourself how a sexually transmitted disease, can break down your immune system and target itself. That's a master piece.' I give credit to my scientist.' we controlling your DNA.'

I OWN YOUR WOMENS MINDS. I make your women materialistic' YOU GOT TO HAVE FOR HER TO WANT TO BE WITH YOU!... she don't want to be with you if you don't have,I control her through that TV' I control your children through my cartoons. Look what i do in my cartoons,If you ever really sit down and look. Through them that's the pineal glands. The pineal glands is the center of your brain.'

THE INDIANS THEY PUT THE DOT THERE,THEY UNDERSTAND THE (pineal glands) SO WATCH AND LOOK WITH UNDERSTANDING' BREAK IT DOWN WHEN YOU SEE IT,AT THE SAME TIME YOU VISION,THE SAME TIME YOUR EYES TAKE IT IN YOU BREAK IT DOWN!...That's what your pineal glands let you do.' pineal, pineal glands.' Look it up,but i know you ain't gone look it! because you don't read! I created all my systems.I got my myspace,I got my you tubes,I got my Googles.LOOK AT YOUR WOMEN ON MY MYSPACE! LOOK AT THEM.'IMAKE YOUR WOMEN THINK THEIR BEAUTY IS ONLY IN THEIR BODY.' THEY DON'T HAVE A BRAIN!... TO GET YOU THEY HAVE TO USE SEXUAL EXPLOITATIONS.'

I control them too. I control their DNA' AND THE WOMEN IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING,THAT'S THE BIGGEST CONQUER I NEED TO CONQUER.' I could just kill you! I want to conquer the women's mind, BECAUSE THE WOMEN IS THE ONE WHO RAISE THE CHILD.' THE WOMEN IS THE LIGHT, TO THE CHILDS MENTAL STATE,AND THE MENTAL CAPACITY.' I know the brain is similar to a refrigerator,IT ONLY HAS WHAT YOU OUT IN IT!

If you got a baloney sandwich in that refrigerator ,that's because you only put a baloney sandwich in that refrigerator! If you got vegetables ,if you got vitamins,if you got protein, that means you put it in there.THERE NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB OR SMART PERSON!...A BRAIN ADAPTS ,AND BRAIN IS A POWERFUL THING! But like i said, THE DNA CONTROLS THE BRAIN!...

but i did a good job when i sit back and i look at you people.' I did a wonderful job. AND YOU DON'T EVEN REALIZE IT,YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!.. I CONTROL YOU! I DON'T CARE ABOUT NOTHING ELSE!!! BUT MY MONEY!!!!!! MY UNITED STATED CURRENCY.' (pledge allegiance to my flag) UNITED STATES OF MY AMERICA.' TO MY REPUBLIC' FOR WHAT IT STANDS,ONE NATION UNDER GOD/WHICH IS YOUR GOD!... DNA! Dr. Clarke:Black Liberation Was Just A Bunch Of Talk

Things that sustain you must be continued .The Jewish people are integrated into the total society.' You go to brandeis,It is clear at brandeis that you are going to a university that was found by Jews for the best interest of Jews ,and it will stay THAT WAY! and if you don't like it let the door hit you!... They don't change one iota to suit any body.'

Now if you want to go to the university the way it is ,all well and uh! But if you want to change it ,you got trouble.' They didn't change Einstein medical school' and they not going to! these universities are still going to be zionist universities ,i have nothing against that,I can deal with that! But shouldn't we have one or several or all so called black universities dedicated to black people the world over?

How many black universities teaching are teaching an African language? How many black universities have in debt course on what happen to Africa? and how many would dare mention OUT HOLOCAUST that started before, and how many black professors would have enough nerve to say that the people who were trapped into the German holocaust participated in every aspect of our holocaust, that's still going on ad they're participating in every aspect of it right now! Who will deal with our sentimental attachment, to the Hebrew mystique.' and how this mystique cam into being.'

during slavery we wanted to attach ourselves to a people who escaped from something.' We believed the EXODUS STORY MORE THEN THEY! AND STILL DO! We believed the story of the Hebrew children in the fire furnace,we believed it more then they right now!

WE CAN NOT SEPARATE FOLKLORE AND MYTHOLOGY FROM TRUTH! Folklore is beautiful' folklore is essential' Myth is essential to the ego to all people.' BUT MYTH IS NOT TRUTH!... MYTH IS BASED ON FOLKLORE!....

I grew up ,believing and reciting the stories of High John the Conqueror' cause any time we wanted some body to do something to a white person and get away with it,we bring in High John the conqueror .' Slap that mans face, kicked him until he was begging for mercy right out of the neighborhood.'

We didn't do it High John did it! I'm saying that it is essential that people tell stories that make them feel good about themselves.' All people tell stories to me them feel good about themselves,BUT YOU TEEL SOMEBODY ELESES STORY!

you haven't told your story yet! How did you get into the predicament, that you are in today, where you are totally unprepared to handle a NATION! Lets look at south Africa and the whole fight against apartheid. Its a good fight,i've been a part of it for 50 years of my life.

What is missing in the fight? the main thing that is missing is the fact that apartheid is not what the struggle in south Africa is mainly about.'

IT'S ABOUT EUROPEAN OR WHITE CONTROL OVER THE MINERAL WEALTH OF THE WORLD! They must control the Platnium' they must control the precious metals, they must control the gold, they must control the diamonds, especially the industrial diamonds.'

They can eliminate apartheid tomorrow! The school in the world is the colorado schools of mines in the United states,NOT ONE AFRICAN STUDENT NOT ONE BLACK STUDENT! studying at the colorado school of mines! If you going to take over south Africa you got to know how to control the mines, you got to control the metal, you got to know how to make people safe in going into mines, you got to know how to market the mines, you have to know how to guide the ships across the sex to deliver your goods and your property. South Africa is the 12th largest importer of food in the world.' A lot of the peaches you buy( ....) came from south Africa.'

A lot of the lobsters, south Africa's lobster tails... Now if you going to take over south Africa you don't know how to handle the fields, then all you will have to do is to call them back to show you how to do it.'

HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU HAVE WHO CAN FIX AN ELEVATOR? What i am talking about tonight is HOW YOU LOST THE CONCEPT OF CONTROLLING A NATION!... UNTIL YOU GET BACK THE CONCEPT OF NATION FORMATION ' AND NATION MANAGEMENT,YOU GOING TO HAVE DIFFICULTY! WITH OR WITH OUR APARTHEID!

I don't question whether apartheid is brutal! I'm fighting it the same as everybody else but i know that's not the whole picture.'

YOU HAVE TO PREPARE TO CONTROL EVERY SINGLE ITEM IN A NATION!...THAT NEEDS TO WHOLE THAT NATION TOGETHER!...

How many lock smiths you got there? People have to be trained in every aspect of nation management! including sweeping of the street! sewage system, drainage system, water supplies, ALL OF THIS! THIS MAKES UP A NATION.'

Now ,The Black man i want you to look at again, because each one and in his own way ,was preparing us for nation management ,and had we'd looked at each one and accepted each one on the bases of his contribution and stop arguing about who was fighting who, we would have been close to a time where we might have been ready for the 21 century.'

Lets look at Booker t washington,w.e.b. dubois, marcus garvey, and elijah muhammad.' Why elijah muhammad? and you not a muslim, thats not even the issue! elijah muhammad like most muslim was a disgruntled baptist! and if you ever went to see one of his speeches,If you ever saw malcolm x at the mosque, and go into a baptist church, you see the response back and forth a typical baptist response.' They don't let don't let the minster stand there and preach a whole good sermon with out letting him know that you on the mark brother you'll know that's Gods word! It goes back and forth, yeah' brother its alright' make it plain now.'

Well you see the same thing happening among moslems ,they got on a moslem veneer its just a coat! but beneath its all they are the same baptist that hey left.

THEY JUST ANGRY WITH THE RELIGION OF THE OPPRESSOR THAT THEY LEFT.' THE RELIGION THAT THE OPPRESSOR ADAPTED,BUT NEVER PRACTICE!!!!! And when we go back and look at Booker t washington, look at the school at Tuskegee,he was preparing, black people to sustain themselves on a nation bases.'

You live in a brick house, own a brick yard! learn how to manage a brick yard! You wear shoes made of leather ,learn how to tam leather, learn how to take leather straight from a cow,tan it and make it into a good show.' many students walk to tuskegee they was so poor. they walked across 3 states and got to tuskegee they bar footed, and what did Booker t washington do? started a show repair shop, and later a shop showing people how to design shoes.'

Most of the black orthopedic show makers in this country were trained at Tuskegee' I'm talking about the craft that you need to run a WHOLE NATION! And you got people here with PHD's that couldn't even design a(word un audible) People with PHD's,technicians can't even make a coffin.

John the Conqueror, also known as High John the Conqueror, John de Conquer, and many other folk variants, is a folk hero from African-American folklore. He is associated with a certain root, the John the Conquer root, or John the Conqueroo, to which magical powers are ascribed in American folklore, especially among the hoodoo tradition of folk magic. The root and its magical uses are mentioned in a number of blues lyrics. Regardless of which name is used, in these contexts 'conqueror' is pronounced 'conker' or sometimes 'conqueroo'.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_the_Conqueror

Zionism Hebrew: ציונות, Tsiyonut) is a nationalist[1] Jewish political movement that, in its broadest sense, calls for the self-determination of the Jewish people and a sovereign, Jewish national homeland.[2] Since the establishment of the State of Israel, the Zionist movement continues primarily to support and advocate on behalf of the Jewish state.Zionism did not have a uniform ideology, but a plethora of ideologies: General Zionism, National-Religious Zionism, Labor Zionism, Revisionist Zionism, etc. Shimoni (1995) shows that there existed among the parties a common denominator: the claim to Eretz Israel as the national homeland of the Jews and as the legitimate focus for the national self-determination of the Jews.[3]Zionism is based on historical ties and religious traditions linking the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.[4] Almost two millennia after the Jewish diaspora, the modern Zionist movement, beginning in the late 19th century, was mainly founded by secular Jews, largely as a response by Ashkenazi Jews to antisemitism and the Anti-Jewish pogroms in the Russian Empire.[5]With its international support, Zionism is included in diaspora politics as a broader phenomenon of modern nation liberation movements.[6] Although one of several Jewish political movements offering alternative responses to assimilation and antisemitism, Zionism grew rapidly and became the dominant force among Jewish political movements. The political movement was formally established by the Austro-Hungarian journalist Theodor Herzl in the late 19th century following the publication of his book Der Judenstaat.[7] The movement sought to encourage Jewish migration to the Ottoman Palestine and was eventually successful in establishing Israel on 14 May 1948 (5 Iyyar 5708 in the Hebrew calendar), as the homeland for the Jewish people. Its proponents regard its aim as self-determination for the Jewish people.[8] The proportion of world Jewry living in Israel has steadily grown since the movement came into existence. Today roughly 40% of the world's Jews live in Israel. Nearly as many live in the United States (see American Jews).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionism

Jordan Maxwell Secrets Of The Pyramids
Jordan Maxwell, one scientist i don't recall who it was said made an interesting comment, that the universe is not stranger than you imagine, the universe is stranger then you can imagine.' And the point being is that you haven't learned anything until you understand how the pyramids were built, the geometrics, the harmonics,uh the well established mathmatics ,uh i don't see how any one can possibly say that they are well informed about the modern day world and not realize the importance of this country has played in the development of Europe and the rest of the world.

I remember someone saying a long time always trust a person who's looking for truth.' never trust the one who's found it.' The point being is that real divine truth is far,far out ahead of what ever we might begin to understand.' manly palmer hall, one of my uh very good friends said in one of his lectures,Manly Palmer Hall said:

'If you can explain intelligently to an audience something about god that everyone can understand, then that proves that you don't know anything about god, because the god your pea-brain can understand can not be the one that created the universe.' The one that created all things is far,far loftier then we have uh correct view of.

I think that so many people are having problems in their lives that could be solved if they knew better how to act and how to deal with these problems.' Remember the decision you'll make in your life is only are only good as the 'information' If you have faulty information uh then of course your decisions are going to hurt your.'

This is why the people who run our world have such things as the CIA, A central intelligence agency' because intelligence is required for every movement in your 'life' You need to know what's on the other side, you need to know where you'll going.'

Uh it will help to know as much about the other uh significant other in your life.' um,before making decisions. So that's why i have pursued this esoteric knowledge because i believe that there is a world out there that is not in our dimension not in our domain, but that at as the ancient peoples said i think it was the knight templars who coined the phrase (as above so below)um,I believe that.' that so many things which happens to us, is because of something that's happening up there.Someone else seem to be uh in control.'

Egyptian Priest - No Contact with people - Priests did not preach, proselytize, or care for a congregation, their duties were:
Perform material and ritually magic services to the god of his temple
Perform funeral rites for the dead.

Catholic Priests- Close contact with people - messengers of a 'divinely revealed truth.'
Preach the word of the Lord
Attend to the spiritual, pastoral, moral, and educational needs of the members of their church.

The Past:

Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Dr. John Henrik Clarke

Jiddu Krishnamurti on Hope
Question: The hope that tomorrow will solve our problems prevents our seeing the absolute urgency of change. How does one deal with this?

Jiddu Krishnamurti - What do you mean by the future, what is future? If one is desperately ill, tomorrow has meaning; one may be healed by tomorrow. So one must ask, what is this sense of future? We know the past; we live in the past, which is the opposite movement; and the past, going through the present, modifying itself, moves to that which we call the future.

First of all, are we aware that we live in the past - the past that is always modifying itself, adjusting itself, expanding and contracting itself, but still the past - past experience, past knowledge, past understanding, past delight, the pleasure which has become the past?

The future is the past, modified. So one's hope of the future is still the past moving to what one considers to be the future. The mind never moves out of the past. The future is always the mind acting, living, thinking in the past.

What is the past? It is one's racial inheritance, one's conditioning as Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, Catholic, American and so on. It is the education one has received the hurts the delights, as remembrances. That is the past. That is one's consciousness.

Observable universe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Source: en.wikipedia.org
In Big Bang cosmology, the observable universe consists of the galaxies and other matter that we can in principle observe from Earth in the present day, because light (or other signals) from those objects has had time to reach us since the beginning of the cosmological expansion. ...
God or truth cannot be thought about. If you think about it, it is not truth. Truth cannot be sought; it comes to you. You can go after only what is known. When the mind is not tortured by the known, by the effects of the known, then only can truth reveal itself. Truth is in every leaf, every tear; it is to be known from moment to moment. No one can lead you to truth; and if anyone leads you, it can only be to the known.

You cannot find truth through anybody else. How can you? Surely, truth is not something static; it has no fixed abode; it is not an end, a goal. On the contrary, it is living, dynamic, alert, alive. How can it be an end? If truth is a fixed point, it is no longer truth; it is then a mere opinion. Truth is the unknown, and a mind that is seeking truth will never find it. For mind is made up of the known, it is the result of the past, the outcome of time—which you can observe for yourself. Mind is the instrument of the known, hence, it cannot find the unknown; it can only move from the known to the known. When the mind seeks truth, the truth it has read about in books, that truth is self-projected, for then the mind is merely in pursuit of the known, a known more satisfactory than the previous one. When the mind seeks truth, it is seeking its own self-projection, not truth.

Carl Sagan on natural laws/constellations

Source: www.youtube.com
Carl Sagan on natural laws/constellations
 Carl Sagan on natural laws/constellations
The desire to be connected
with the cosmos...
...reflects a profound reality...
...for we are connected.
Not in the trivial ways that the
pseudo-science of astrology promises...
...but in the deepest ways.
Our little planet is
under the influence of a star.
The sun warms us. It drives the weather.

(We now know that not all life depends on sunlight.)
It sustains all living things.
(Life may even have begun in the sunless depths.)
Four billion years ago,
it brought forth life on Earth.
But our sun...
...is only one of
a billion trillion stars...
...within the observable universe.
And those countless suns

all obey natural laws...
...some of which are
already known to us.
How did we discover
that there are such laws?
If we lived on a planet
where nothing ever changed...
...there wouldn't be much to do.
There'd be nothing to figure out.
There'd be no impetus for science.

And if we lived in
an unpredictable world...
...where things changed
in random or complex ways...
...we wouldn't be able
to figure things out.
And again, there'd be
no such thing as science.
But we live in
an in-between universe...

...where things change, all right...
...but according to patterns, rules...
...or as we call them,
laws of nature.
If I throw a stick up in the air...
...it always falls down.
If the sun sets in the west...
...it always rises again
the next morning in the east.
And so, it's possible

to figure things out.
We can do science, and with it
we can improve our lives.
Human beings are good
at understanding the world.
We always have been.
We were able to hunt game
or build fires...
...only because we had
figured something out.

There once was a time...
...before television...
...before motion pictures,
before radio, before books.
The greatest part of human existence
was spent in such a time.
And then over the dying embers
of the campfire...
...on a moonless night...
...we watched the stars.

The night sky is interesting.
There are patterns there.
If you look closely,
you can see pictures.
One of the easiest constellations
to recognize...
...lies in the northern skies.
In North America,
it's called the Big Dipper.
The French have a similar idea.

They call it La Casserole.
'The casserole.'
In medieval England,
the same pattern of stars...
...reminded people of
a simple wooden plow.
The ancient Chinese had
a more sophisticated notion.
To them these stars carried...
...the celestial bureaucrat on

his rounds about the sky...
...seated on the clouds
and accompanied...
...by his eternally
hopeful petitioners.
The people of northern Europe
imagined another pattern.
To them it was
Charles' Wain, or wagon.
A medieval cart.

But other cultures saw these seven
stars as part of a larger picture.
It was the tail of a great bear...
...which the ancient Greeks
and Native Americans saw...
...instead of the handle of a dipper.
But the most imaginative interpretation
of this larger group of stars...
...was that of the ancient Egyptians.
They made out a curious procession

of a bull and a reclining man...
...followed by a strolling hippopotamus
with a crocodile on its back.
What a marvelous diversity
in the images various cultures saw...
...in this particular constellation.
But the same is true
for all the other constellations.
Some people think these things
are really in the night sky...

...but we put these pictures
there ourselves.
We were hunter folk...
...so we put hunters and dogs...
...lions and young women
up in the skies.
All manner of things
of interest to us.
When 17th century European sailors
first saw the southern skies...

...they put all sorts of things
of 17th century interest up there.
Microscopes and telescopes,
compasses...
...and the sterns of ships.
If the constellations had been
named in the 20th century...
...I suppose we'd put there
refrigerators and bicycles...
...rock stars,

maybe even mushroom clouds.
A new set of human hopes and fears...
...placed among the stars.
But there's more to the stars
than just pictures.
For example, stars always
rise in the east...
...and always set in the west...
...taking the whole night to cross
the sky if they pass overhead.

There are different constellations
in different seasons.
The same constellations always rise
at, say, the beginning of autumn.
It never happens that
a new constellation...
...suddenly appears out of the east,
one that you never saw before.
There's a regularity, a permanence...
...a predictability about the stars.
In a way, they're almost comforting.

Chapter Three | God vs. the Bible

Source: www.godvsthebible.com
As previously stated, evolution is the least of the Bible’s problems. The Bible’s assertions regarding the natural universe can be debunked by the most remedial scientific knowledge that every child should know. ...
Matthew 24:29 (Jesus said) …and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Knowing what we know today about the true nature of stars, we should realize that even as a metaphor the concept of stars “falling” to earth is silly (stars aren’t within the earth’s gravitational pull, so they can’t fall to the earth). The stars are individual suns. Even if a star were cast to the earth, it would have brought the end of the world in chapter 6 of Revelation (which might at least spare the Bible student the burden of having to read the remainder of this incoherent story).

The God of Science (ft. Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, & Arthur C. Clarke)

Source: www.youtube.com
Scientists have a rational, intelligent conversation about God. We all could take a lesson from Carl Sagan, to approach this issue with a little humility. Excerpts from 'God, the Universe, and Everything Else' 1988.
The God of Science (ft. Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, & Arthur C. Clarke) Professor Hawking,in the very last paragraph of your book you say that if we discover a complete theory of the universe then it should be in time understandable in broad principle to everyone and not to just a few scientist, and when that happens all of us will be able to start discussing the 'why' rather than the 'how' and i quote "if we find the answer to that it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason, for then will we know the mind of God."

Do you think God can intervene in the universe as he wants or is God too bound by the laws of science? (Hawking) the question of whether God is bound by the laws of science it's a bit like the question, ' Can God make a stone that is so heavy that he can not lift it?' I don't think it is very useful to speculate on what God might or might not be able to do,rather we should examine what he actually does with the universe we live in.

All our observations suggest that it operates according to well-defined laws. These laws may have been ordained by God but is seems that he does not intervene in the universe to break the laws at least not once he has set the universe going; However, until recently it was thought that the laws would necessarily breakdown at the beginning of the universe.

That would have meant God would have had complete freedom to choose how the universe begin. In the last few years however we have realized that the laws of science may hold even at the beginning of time,In that case God would have had no freedom, the way the universe began would be determined by the laws of science.

Carl Sagan, in your introduction to the book you commented on this. You said,'This is also about God or perhaps about the absence of God since Hawking left nothing for a Creator to do.' Now,God of course means many things to many people what sort of God basically are we talking about when we talk about 'reading the mind of God'?

( Carl Sagan) I think that's an excellent question and i'd be most interested to hear Stephen Hawking's answer but just to try to illuminate the range of possibilities consider two alternatives. One is the,the ,uh,notion that is popular in the west of God as a sort of outsized ,elderly white male with a long white beard sitting on a throne on the sky and tallying the fall of every sparrow.Uh,contrast that with the idea of God in the mind of,let's say,Spinoza.... or Einstein which was,at least very closely, the sum total of the laws of the universe.

Now it would be madness to deny that there are well defined laws in the universe. And if that's what you mean by God then there's no question that God exist but is a very remote God...what the French call 'Roi fainzant', a do-nothing king'. On the other hand the former model of the one who intervenes daily for that there seems to be, as Doctor Hawking said, no evidence.

I think it is wise ,my own personal feeling, to be a little humble on such matters. We must recognize that we are dealing with,by definition, the most difficult things... to know the furthest from human experience and perhaps we will be able to penetrate a little way into these mysteries.

(Hawking) I used 'God' in the same sense that Einstein did.It is really the reason why the universe is as it is,ad why the universe exists at all. I understand that in the earliest days of civilization then the priest were in fact what we call the scientist, the ones who could study Astronomy ,and who could predict eclipses and things. Do you see these scientist coming back into an almost sacerdotal position like this or am I over stating it?

( Carl Sagan) I hope you're over stating it. I think the essence of the scientific method is the willingness to admit you're wrong, the willingness to abandon ideas that don't work. And the essence of religion is not to change anything. The supposed truths are handed down by some revered figure and then no one is supposed to make any progress beyond that because the truth is thought to be in the hand.

My sense is that the scientific way of thinking: question, some delicate mix of creative encouragement of new ideas, and the most rigorous and skeptical scrutiny of new and old ideas.Uh,I think that is the path to the future, not just for science but for all human institutions.

We have to be willing to challenge because we are in desperate need of change. ' Science without religion is lame, religion with out science is blind.'-Albert Einstein.because we are in desperate need of change.

Dr. Clarke:Black Liberation Was Just A Bunch Of Talk

Source: www.youtube.com
http://www.blackhistorychannel.org/ Dr.John Henrik Clarke are we ready for the 21st century
Dr. Clarke was quoted as saying, “We cannot separate folklore and myth from truth. Folklore is both beautiful and essential. And myth is essential to the ego of all people. But myth is not truth. Myth is based on folklore.”He observed that it is essential that people ...tell stories that make them feel good about themselves. But in doing this there is the danger of telling someone else’s story.

Functions of myth'
One of the foremost functions of myth is to establish models for behavior. The figures described in myth are often the result of circumstances which may have a moral interpretation. They are worthy role models of human beings because they embody certain combinations of human and animal traits. For example, the Centaur is part man, part beast. The upper body, being human is a symbol of rationality. The lower body, being of a horse is a symbol of animal instinct. The Centaur thus represents the uniquely human psychological challenge of animal instinct in relation to the rational mind. This example shows that myths are not only valuable due to cultural assumption (or 'spirituality'), but because they portray a set of symbols which can be interpreted morally. It is not necessary to introduce divine experience to explain these symbols, since a symbol is by definition a depiction of an idea in physical form. (bird = power, horse = beast, tree = knowledge).

SLIDESHOW
THE LAST POETS BEFORE THE WHITE MAN CAME LYRICS
Happy the days when once we roamedthe land completely free Good were the times when Village Heads dictated policy.Great was the hunting in those days abundant was the game Peaceful relations we all had Before the white man came

Tall was the stalks of corn we grew Large, the tobacco leaf Healthy our bodies and our minds Strong were our backs and teeth Many a moonlit night was spent dancing around the flame Never a hungry moment met Before the white man came.

Clear were the streams that cross this place Fishing was at its best Silver and Gold the trinkets we woreIn the finest of clothes we were dressedLarge were the herds of long horn steerand buffalo on the plains Full was the peace-pipe that we smoked Before the white man came.

And then the day of the curse arrived and they landed on these shores What manner of being is this? we said We've never seen them before But even so we extended them our hand As we would unto a friend How could we have known that syphilis and daps and plague had come with them.

And now it's been 400 years since that eventful day but if we had known what they had in mind They would all have died in the bay So now we are paying for our mistake with only ourselves to blame With memories of the good old years Before the white man came.

Jiddu
Krishnamurti on Hope Question: The hope that tomorrow will solve our
problems prevents our seeing the absolute urgency of change. How does
one deal with this?

Jiddu Krishnamurti - What do you mean by the
future, what is future? If one is desperately ill, tomorrow has meaning;
one may be healed by tomorrow. So one must ask, what is this sense of
future?

We know the past; we live in the past, which is the opposite
movement; and the past, going through the present, modifying itself,
moves to that which we call the future.

First of all, are we
aware that we live in the past - the past that is always modifying
itself, adjusting itself, expanding and contracting itself, but still
the past - past experience, past knowledge, past understanding, past
delight, the pleasure which has become the past?

The future is
the past, modified. So one's hope of the future is still the past moving
to what one considers to be the future. The mind never moves out of the
past. The future is always the mind acting, living, thinking in the
past. What is the past? It is one's racial inheritance, one's
conditioning as Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, Catholic, American and so
on. It is the education one has received the hurts the delights, as
remembrances. That is the past. That is one's consciousness.

When the European emerged in the world in the 15th and 16th centuries, for the second time, they not only colonized most of the world, they colonized information about the world, and they also colonized images, including the image of God, thereby putting us into a trap, for we are the only people who worship a God whose image we did not choose! I had to respond to this behavior. I could not live with this nonsense and contradictions and I challenged these insidious concepts and theories. While I have not finished my work and I remain worried about who will replace Dr. Ben and me, I am not displeased of my progress of 83 years. As we all would agree, the struggle is continuous.

Hathor - Crystalinks

Source: www.crystalinks.com
In Egyptian mythology, Hathor (Egyptian for House of Horus) was originally a personification of the Milky Way, which was seen as the milk that flowed from the udders of a heavenly cow.
 Functions of myth
Our history our culture our symbols are all over the word'but many of us don't know there ours! all of this! these concepts, begin with this concept, this story which is part history part mythology',but mythology is important because it represents a higher aspect of life'. myths are necessaryfor human kind to develop.Anthony T. Browder

One of the foremost functions of myth is to establish models for behavior The figures described in myth are often the result of circumstances which may have a moral interpretation.

Hathor Outside the Nile
Hathor was worshipped in Canaan in the 11th century BC, which at that time was ruled by Egypt, at her holy city of Hazor, which the Old Testament claims was destroyed by Joshua (Joshua 11:13, 21).
The Sinai Tablets show that the Hebrew workers in the mines of Sinai about 1500 BC worshipped Hathor, whom they identified with the goddess Astarte.
Some theories state that the golden calf mentioned in the bible was meant to be a statue of the goddess Hathor (Exodus 32:4-32:6.), although it is more likely to be a representation of the 2 golden calves set up by Rehoboam, an enemy of the levite priesthood, which marked the borders of his kingdom.
The Greeks also loved Hathor and equated her with their own goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite.
Some ancient texts refer to a serpent of light residing in the heavens. This is believed to have been inspired by the Milky Way (a similar allusion to the ouroboros).

In general, the Egyptian gods and Egyptian religion did not travel. The ancient Egyptians were insular, not overly interested in importing or exporting deities. Eventually Isis would become the great exception, with temples in Rome, and throughout Europe, Africa and Asia, as far away as the British Isles. Hathor was her trailblazing predecessor. Beyond the traditional borders of Egypt and Nubia, Hathor was worshipped throughout Semitic West Asia, beloved particularly in the city of Byblos.

Afrikan Culture - Dr. Amos Wilson - pt. 4

Source: www.youtube.com
Afrikan Culture
Afrikan Culture - Dr. Amos Wilson - pt. 4 Taste,Desires Passions,Ideas,Motives,Values, etc. The pursuit of and the satisfaction of which, maintains social power relations.' social prerogatives, the integrity of the social political economic system, the cultural status quo. What am i'm saying here? The culture' it inculcating particular values in people.'

inculcating particular desirers in people, the culture doesn't inculcate into you the desire for what? everything does it? no it says what, you should desire this, and not that.' this is desirable but this is horrible' you know,This you should be interested in,that you don't have to worry about, you see. This you should feel strongly about,That you shouldn't have to worry about, you see. This you should strive to be, these are the ideas we wish you would actualize, this you don't have to strive to be, as a matter of fact you can reject this.' This is where you should try to go,these are the goals we approve of,the others we don't.' So a culture then organizes these values.'

these ideas' these interest' and so forth' this is apart of our cultural identity. Such that when you pursue the satisfaction' of these desires' when you pursue the actualization of the cultural ideas.' when you pursue the interest that culture has inculcated in you, what do you do then,by doing this you maintain what? THE CULTURE ITSELF.'

you see' and many of those things ARE POLITICAL' AND MANY ARE ECONOMIC! In other words if a culture tells you that eating a certain food is the right thing to do,and this is what we're about ,and that eating this food is central and important to our culture, then believe it or not there's going to be system of production to do what?PRODUCE what? that food.' A system of what?DISTRIBUTION' as well you see,and a whole system of economic what? RELATIONS' you see.' so therefore this 'taste' even the taste for food,or certain interest when you pursue them MAINTAIN A SOCIAL SYSTEM.' and maintain an economic system.' And if the structure of that culture,If it's a class culture,a class structure, and if that structure is built on wealth and the accumulation of wealth, and the control of the means of production,BY CERTAIN PEOPLE' your pursuit of those cultural taste' HELPS TO MAINTAIN, THE STRUCTURE, OF THAT CULTURE.' Am I GETTING THROUGH? Am I putting you to sleep? hang in with me,hang in with me 'please'

It's very important that we get this mind, because without this theory and understanding this,YOU'RE GOING TO GO BLINDLY INTO THE TRAINING OF YOUNG BOY,AND THE TRAINING OF YOUR YOUNG GIRLS.' You're going to take them through the rituals and everything, but they are going to still have EUROPEAN TASTE' and DESIRE' EUROPEAN THINGS.' and then still pursue European ideas, even with their 'kente' on.'

And despite than and their superficial behavior,If those taste and interest and passions and so forth, are not also transformed in particular directions, despite their superficial attachment to African cultures, they will continue to perpetuate their oppression, and maintain the system, that they think they are trying to get out from, you see.' And this is why you have to understand this theoretical thing so that you know where you're going.'

When you're talking about EDUCATING these CHILDREN AFRICAN CENTRICALLY!.. You see. This is why you're ultimately is going to have to reject 'MULTI-CULTURALISM' and understand that its AFRICAN 'CENTEREDNESS' THAT MUST BE TAUGHT! NOT MULTI-CULTRUALISM!

multiculturalism says its alright ,every bodies culture,ok party anna' YOU GOT A CULTURE I GOT A CULTURE,ALL GODS CHILDREN GOT A CULTURE' YOU KNOW' ITS ALRIGHT, YOU CAN TASTE FROM THIS ONE,YOU CAN TASTE FROM THAT ONE,YOU CAN BUY FROM THIS ONE,YOU CAN BUY FROM THAT ONE,Which is exactly what black folks are doing right now.'

you see' and therefore what?keeping other peoples families alive, keeping them out of crime' keeping them well housed ' you know and all the things we're doing, because we have not controlled our what? taste and interest, and evolved them in ways that they ADVANCE OUR CULTURE AND US AS A PEOPLE.' PLEASE GET RID OF MULTI - CULTRUALISM! and it makes you believe that every culture is alright.'

Here you are suffering from European culture and now you gonna, you know, its alright .' You can't put one down and put then other one up.' Europeans amuse me any way talking about their cultural traditions.' And what great traditions they have bought to the world.'

TRADITION IS WHAT YOU DO.' yeah' And it an insult to an African men to have Europeans talk about their great traditions.' You may talk about your 'philosophy' but that's not your 'tradition' You may talk about your religion' but that's not your tradition' or if it is your tradition' then no matter how beautiful it sound' I MUST REJECT IT! because it enslaved me.' IT OPPRESSED ME.' and the whole 'dent'. you see.'

So uh, And i don't care how sweet it sounds, and how logically it is put together.' or how literate it may be.' The Ghana Empire ~ The Attack of The Almoravids (Moors)
Two of Africans greatest kingdoms grew up in west African south of the sahara. Along the Niger river in the modern country of Mali. The first of these great trading empires was Ghana. It was founded around A.D 300 by a people called the seneca, they may have been the first west Africans to make iron. their iron tools and weapons gave them a advantage over other groups in west Africa, whom they conquered to create a strong state, the Kingdom of Ghana. The kings of Ghana built their power on the trade of two key products, god and salt. Gold was the bases of most currency in most of the parts of the world, and west Africa had lots of it. So Arab and Berber traders from north Africa were willing to risk crossing the sahara to trade with west Africa.in turn the west Africans needed salt, which came from mines in the desert. A thriving gold and salt trade developed. Ghana at the center of the caravan routes grew rich by taxing the traders and created a great empire. The traders brought more than just salt and other goods, they brought a new religion, Islam.' The kings of Ghana welcome the muslim traders but they didn't their religion, instead they allowed traders to establish their own muslims trading towns.' But around 1050 an extreme muslim religious movement, aroused among the desert Arabs. Its followers, called Almoravids (Moors) wages war on all non muslims.' in 1076 they swept into Ghana capturing its capital, and forcing the people of Ghana to convert to Islam or be killed, but the empire never recovered.
